The superior performance of the 22 design has been demonstrated in both long distance and triangle racing venues since 1992. The decision to solidify the design was in response to the current 22 owners desire to level the playing field in the future.

Most of our designs have been built of fiberglass or composites, but several have been wood or metal, as well. The firm was started on 1977 with the launching of the radical and highly successful one-tonner, Rogue's Roost. Since 1993 we have been located on Cape Cod, an easy drive from either Boston or Providence, and right in the middle of one of New England's best cruising grounds.
  • Corsair Trimarans There are 12 especially unique and desirable qualities that make Corsair Trimarans the best. Indeed, no other full-production trailerable trimaran design offers all 12. 1. Extraordinary speed and effortless acceleration are trademarks of Corsairs. Their ability to fly on a puff or generate their own high-power apparent wind is legendary. Without a lead keel to create drag, and with tangible buoyancy in construction technique and materials, Corsairs are powered effortlessly by their high-performance sails. 2. Comfortable stability at any speed and in almost all sea conditions is simply a feature of beam and buoyancy. Heel (often unpopular with sailors) is restricted to about 15 degrees; which feels like about five degrees on the broad, flat deck and trampolines of a Corsair. 3. Superior safety is inherent in the design and construction of these boats and it stems from the same features that make them sail flat and fast. Corsairs can't sink. In fact, with all hulls filled to the brim with water, the positive buoyancy of the materials of construction keep the vessel afloat even with all crew aboard. 4. Trailerability is not a hassle. It's an advantage. Especially since it only takes a single owner about 30 minutes to go from trailer to sailing and back again after a couple of practice runs. Corsairs fold up and pull out effortlessly, mast-down in moments, tow easily and smoothly, and save you a bundle on slip fees and seasonal storage. 5. Accommodations are ample and designed for extended cruising aboard the larger models, or streamlined for racing on all models. Berth areas are sufficient and comfortable, appliances an option, shower if you want one. You're apt to lounge on deck or in the cockpit most of the time, but when you do go below you'll have all the comfort you need. etc.

  • Morris Yachts Morris Yachts recently celebrated its 33rd year of semi-custom yacht production working step by step with designers C. W. Paine and Sparkman & Stephens. Our product line includes sail and power yachts that have demonstrated a reputation for luxury, performance and great value. Morris Yachts has worked hard to become the quality bench mark for discriminating yachtsmen around the world. Tom Morris launched this enterprise in 1972 and was joined by his son Cuyler in 1995. A life long love of sailing for Tom and Cuyler has spanned 60 years. Tom, born in Philadelphia, extended a family tradition started in 1886 of summer vacations in Maine with his family, and at the age of 32 succumbed to his passion for sailing. The natural beauty of Mt. Desert Island, its down-east traditions and a rich history of boat building were a perfect complement to his passion for sailing.

  • Nautor's Swan Oy Nautor Ab was founded in Finland in 1966 by Pekka Koskenkylä. Koskenkylä's intention was to build the first 10m yacht capable of both cruising and racing, using a fibre glass mould. At the heart of his concept was quality, the core focus of Nautor's production process throughout its history. Series production was considered key to the success of the venture and precise, logistical organisation was paramount at an early stage. Today the expansive Swan portfolio charts the journey that Nautor has travelled, from the inaugural Swan 36 to the ambitious 131. Nautor’s Swan yachts are considered the ultimate ocean-going, performance, luxury sailing yacht of unrivalled build quality. The future continues to look bright as Nautor justifies its position at the top of the ladder both for pure luxury and for revolutionary technology with the opening of a new, hi-tech boatyard.

  • Northwind Yachts The Industrial North Wind shipyard was founded in 1973 in Sant Andreu de la Barca, where over a period of 20 years more than 380 units have been built. There are currently in excess of 500 North Wind boats sailing all over the world. Throughout the history of North Wind, the most highly qualified workers from other Catalan shipbuilders, such as Astilleros Viudes, have joined the firm, making up what is today one of the most prestigious companies in the sailing world.
  • Pacific Seacraft A foremost designer and builder of sailing yachts and motoryachts.
  • PDQ Yachts A passion for perfection, a love of the creative process and a drive to build great boats brought three extraordinary men together to build the first PDQ Yacht. These three men were Dr. Harvey Griggs, MIT graduate in structural engineering and the man who commissioned the first yacht, Alan Slater, chief engineer and steadfast believer in catamarans, and Simon Slater, Alan's son, creator of the deck design, and the brawn behind the construction. PDQ Yachts was founded in 1987 on a belief that a catamaran is a better cruising sailboat. Already known for performance, their stability and accommodation make multihulls ideal for long-range cruising. Although catamarans were already successful in the charter industry, PDQ decided to build a boat targeted towards cruising couples. The result was a 2-cabin, 34-foot cruising catamaran, which quickly gained popularity with retired professionals.

  • W.D. Schock Boat building began for W. D. "Bill" Schock at age thirteen when he built a Skimmer in the garage of his family's Hollywood home. After serving as a crew chief in WWII, Bill moved into a small beach house in Newport Beach and set up shop. He repaired the rental fleet at a local amusement park, among other odd jobs, and started building a cold-molded wooden International 14 for himself. Before he finished it, another I-14 sailor discovered the boat and talked Bill into selling it. W. D. Schock Boat Building and Repair was in business. Bill Schock went on to become one of the most innovative boat builders in the world. He was the first boat builder to make a production fiberglass boat. It was a sailboat known as the Lehman 10. Three other fiberglass one-design boats followed - the Snowbird, Sabot, and Schock 22. Bill also introduced a number of clever designs that made sailboats much less expensive to own. He was determined to make sailboat ownership a possibility for a much wider range of buyers. Up until the advent of fiberglass, only the very rich could own a sailboat.
